Membership Dues paid by Saint Jude Council 6551 Brother Knight members help underwrite our charitable activities, as well as our activities in support of the Roman Catholic Church, particularly Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish, and the Diocese of Camden, NJ.
Saint Jude Council 6551 is particularly interested in the support of the youth and young adults of Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish and the Diocese of Camden, NJ as regards their vocations and potential membership as Brother Knights in the Knights of Columbus.
Membership Dues statements will be mailed separately to each Brother Knight in the list provided by Supreme as Brother Knights belonging to Saint Jude Council 6551. Please look for and respond to any Membership Dues statements.
Brother Knights can pay Membership Dues at any meeting or mail them to Financial Secretary (FS) Sir Knight (SK) Jim Brennan whose address will be on the statements.
Upon receipt of Membership Dues payments an appropriate level Membership Card will be mailed to the address on the payment / statement.
As mentioned in the current and many past Council Matters Newsletters, we are assessed each calendar year by Knights of Columbus Supreme Council and the Knights of Columbus NJ State Council to help underwrite their charitable activities. We are required to remit for each Brother Knight member on our roster regardless of whether that Brother Knight member has paid his dues. Therefore, when a Brother Knight listed as a Brother Knight member of our Saint Jude Council 6551 does not pay his dues, he reduces the amount of money available to Saint Jude Council 6551 for charitable activities. Some Brother Knight members have not paid their dues in a number of years. We appreciate the efforts of those Brother Knight members in arrears to become current.
Please remember if you are experiencing financial difficulties that prevent you from paying what you owe in past or future dues, please contact the Financial Secretary (FS) SK Jim Brennan, PGK (856-767-4847) firstname.lastname@example.org.

The NJ State E-Newsletter for May and the NJ State Free Throw Finals Report showed a 13 Year Old Winner Christina Katkocian attributed to Saint Jude Council 6551 but with Saint Simon Stock as her parish. Upon checking, we found that Ronald M. Katkocin was listed as a 1st Degree Brother Knight from 5 July 1995 in the Alpha List for Saint Jude Council 6551 from Supreme. We took the liberty to modify the spelling of Katkocin where either Katocian or Katkocian appeared in our rework of the orginal NJ State Free Throw Finals Report. Congratulations Christina
